About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and research-oriented academician for the position of Assistant Professor – Geography. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and academic development, contributing to a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures in Geography across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
• Develop and update course curriculum in line with industry and academic standards
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed national/international journals
• Guide and mentor students in academic and research projects
• Participate in departmental activities, seminars, conferences, and workshops
• Contribute to institutional development initiatives and accreditation processes

Eligibility Criteria:

• PhD in Geography (Mandatory)
• Strong academic record (UG & PG in relevant discipline)
• Demonstrated research potential with publications
• Prior teaching experience preferred

Skills Required:

• Strong subject knowledge in Geography
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Research and analytical abilities
