Responsibilities

How will you make an impact in this role?

We’re looking for a Staff Engineer, Commercial Data Platform and Sales Enablement in GCS-Technology. In this role you will:

• Influence the technical strategy to optimize the scalability, resiliency, governance capabilities, and efficiency of our commercial data platform
• Perform hands-on architecture, design, development, and testing of foundational components and data pipelines
• Mentor data practitioners across our commercial ecosystem, enabling them to achieve technical excellence
• Partner across peer product/engineering leaders and commercial sales stakeholders to co-create innovative technical solutions to improve the efficiency of our sales organization
• Drive high-level & detailed technical designs and conduct designs & code reviews as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Expertise with public cloud (AWS/GCP)
• Experience with cloud based data warehouse and lakehouse software (ex. GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Deep expertise with spark, python, scala, SQL
• Experience designing resilient data pipeline orchestration patterns (ex. Airflow)
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns for highly available and scalable distributed data systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience guiding data practitioners to build efficient, scalable data pipelines
• Experience partnering cross functionally to drive successful execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building unified data driven solutions with a data-lakehouse architecture
• Experience building event driven data streaming solutions.
