Position Overview

American Bully Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Technician to support fabrication, assembly, inspection, and production operations. This is a hands-on position that supports multiple departments as production needs change.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment, can confidently interpret engineering drawings, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This individual should be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and adapting to a variety of manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of fabricated and machined components.
• Install PEM hardware, threaded inserts, rivets, and other fastening systems.
• Prepare and bond components using adhesives and bonding agents in accordance with work instructions.
• Prepare and operate laser marking / cutting equipment in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of waterjet cutting operations.
• Deburr, sand, polish, bevel, and finish machined and fabricated components.
• Drill, tap, countersink, and counterbore aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, travelers, work instructions, and specifications.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Package completed products and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production needs across Assembly, Waterjet, Fabrication, Engineering, Shipping, and Inspection departments as workload requires.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and workflow.

Probationary Period

All newly hired employees are subject to a 45-day probationary period. During this period, employees will be evaluated on attendance, reliability, workmanship, technical knowledge, quality of work, ability to interpret engineering drawings, use of measuring equipment, communication, initiative, safety practices, and overall fit within the company.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on production demands.
