The Risk & Compliance Programs Analyst supports the enterprise Compliance & Risk Management Program. The Risk & Compliance Programs Analyst partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to transform incident data, audit findings, regulatory changes, and operational metrics into actionable insights that inform risk scoring, mitigation strategies, and executive decision-making.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collects and aggregates risk-related data from investigations, clinical incidents, audit results, regulatory updates, and operational reports
  • Supports the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise risk register, including risk descriptions, likelihood and impact scoring, and control effectiveness assessments
  • Performs ongoing trend analysis to identify emerging risks, evolving vulnerabilities, and patterns that may affect organizational risk exposure
  • Assists in preparing quarterly risk scoring, heat maps, and Board-level risk reports, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Supports the Risk & Compliance Programs Manager in updating the ERM methodology, taxonomy, and scoring criteria based on evolving industry standards and regulatory guidance
  • Tracks risk mitigation activities and corrective action plans (CAPs), documenting progress and assessing residual risk levels
  • Participates in regular risk intake meetings to capture new or emerging risks from functional leaders and incorporate them into the risk register
  • Collaborates with the Compliance Auditing team to integrate audit findings and monitoring outcomes into enterprise risk assessments
  • Develops dashboards, reports, and visualizations that translate complex risk data into actionable insights for leadership and governance committees
  • Assists in preparing materials for executive level presentations
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Risk Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, operations, project coordination, analytics, healthcare administration, or a related environment
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to track multiple workstreams
  • Ability to interpret policies, regulatory guidance, and operational processes with support and direction
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with data entry, dashboards, reports, or monitoring tools
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills; proficiency in the English language is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required; PowerPoint preferred)
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in structured compliance documentation
  • Willingness to learn compliance frameworks such as DOJ ECCP, Enterprise Risk Management, Joint Commission HCSS standards, and monitoring plans
