Ameresco has a new opportunity on our Power Infrastructure Solutions team for a Regional Construction Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end execution of complex energy infrastructure and construction projects, providing overall project leadership, governance, and accountability for safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction across public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial sectors.
Direct project development and delivery in partnership with Engineering, Construction, and Operations leadership, driving project strategy, constructability reviews, scope definition, procurement planning, subcontractor selection, cost estimating, scheduling, commissioning, startup, and long-term operational readiness.
Oversee and manage key subcontractor, vendor, and supplier relationships to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services
Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Provide ongoing project status updates with all parties throughout design and construction.
Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend most suitable for each application.
Lead project implementation of site safety and health plans, quality assurance and control, operations and maintenance start-up including manuals and training activities.
Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration;
Manage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting processes for accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, and tracking.
Ensure compliance with company, industry best practices, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
Foster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases; and perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years civil infrastructure, electrical (medium/high voltage), mechanical/turbine/generators, engineering, or industrial power construction project management work experience involving complex and multi-site facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, energy services, and renewable technology.
Data center project management experience.
USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) and OSHA certification is a bonus
Ability to pass comprehensive background and drug screening pre-employment checks.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience delivering projects valued at $50M to $1B+, preferred.
Prior experience leading and managing construction teams and resources on highly complex and multi-site projects. Completion or active progress toward engineering, project management, or industry-related education preferred.
Progressive construction project management work experience with direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty and service requirements.
Proven experience implementing OSHA safety standards, civil site work, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple project deliverables and foster positive business relationships.
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, and Procore Will be required.
Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
May require on-call response and travel.
