Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Mines, located in Kodinar. The Assistant Manager Mines will oversee and manage mining operations, including mine planning, supervising mining processes, ensuring adherence to mine safety protocols, and overseeing geological assessments. The role involves coordinating with various teams, preparing and managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering principles
- Strong knowledge of Mine Safety practices and adherence to safety regulations
- Experience in Budgeting and resource allocation for mining operations
- Understanding of Geology and its application in mining operations
- Effective leadership and team coordination abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Proven work experience in mining operations; experience in cement or similar industries is a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in mining
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
