Your role as a

counselor involves advocating for students' emotional and academic

needs while fostering a positive atmosphere. This position requires

a Master’s degree in Counseling, a valid counseling certificate,

and three years of credible teaching experience. You will also

utilize child behavior management skills to help students navigate

their emotional landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling on personal, social, and

academic issues

• Design and implement comprehensive counseling

programs

• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and

parents

• Promote emotional regulation and positive behavior

management

• Continuously evaluate and improve counseling

effectiveness

Requirements

• Master’s degree

in Counseling is mandatory

• Texas school counseling certificate

required

• Minimum of three years teaching experience
• Expertise

in social / emotional learning strategies

• Strong communication and

interpersonal skills

Guide students through

their formative years, ensuring they receive the comprehensive

support needed to flourish academically and socially.
