As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Clearance Required in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the assignment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor access points and help verify that entry to designated areas is limited to authorized personnel, following site protocols for badges, visitor processing, and/or deliveries.
• Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and assisting with post orders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
