Responsibilities

Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes and skid steerers
Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material hauling, and other construction tasks as needed
Follow project plans and specifications accurately to complete tasks efficiently and precisely
Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities on-site for seamless workflow
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes and skid steerers
Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in excavation and grading, potentially near utilities
Ability to interpret construction plans and technical instructions accurately
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to project demands
