<p><strong>Geospatial Analyst (Mid)</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Must have active TS/SCI clearance for this position</em></span></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Springfield, VA (on-site)</p> <p>Experience Level: Mid</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Duties</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to represent NGA, to operate independently, and to build productive and enduring partnerships.</li> <li>Possess a solid background in Geospatial Analysis, ArcGIS applications, software, Socet GXP, Remote View and data formats</li> <li>Knowledge of databases and commercial libraries for data discovery and data management.</li> <li>Ability to create a Helicopter Landing Zone (HLZ), perform slope analysis and viewshed analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to analyze data, formulate conclusions, and make strategic recommendations.</li> <li>Ability to discern and refine customer requirements and produce tailored, timely, and accurate GEOINT.</li> <li>Understand NGA mission, standards (including classification), products, services, and capabilities.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to pass medical, dental, and psychological examinations prior to each deployment.</li> <li>Currently possess a GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) or be able to pass the GPC within six months of arrival to task order.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of geospatial information systems, both current and emerging.</li> <li>Prior deployment experience</li> <li>Prior military experience</li> <li>Fusion and Open-Source analytical experience</li> <li>Prepare and deliver briefings for a variety of customers, including senior leadership.</li> <li>Identify potential tradecraft improvement</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Skills and Experience</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with geospatial analysis and presenting results in the form of data sets, visualization, and models for inclusion in standard and formalized intelligence analysis products</li> <li>Experience applying Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) methodologies to intelligence problem sets</li> <li>&nbsp;Experience in Counterterrorism, Counter-Narcotic, or Counter-Threat Finance analysis and operations</li> <li>&nbsp;Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry</li> <li>Knowledge of a programming or scripting language and appropriate software used to analyze geospatial data or commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors</li> <li>Ability to read and comprehend intelligence issues and military affairs and use GIS to develop geospatial intelligence reports and products that solve problems</li> </ul>
