Be part of the healthcare team at Bonnyville Healthcare Centre as a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I. This part-time position focuses on both laboratory tasks and diagnostic imaging procedures in rural settings. As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will conduct detailed laboratory analyses and X-ray examinations.
This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Your tasks will include everything from patient preparation to maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment, along with quality control checks to ensure accurate results. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze biological specimens and prepare for further testing
- Perform X-ray examinations and report findings accurately
- Manage laboratory equipment and supplies efficiently
- Carry out necessary quality control procedures and documentation
- Train and orient new team members effectively Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology program
- Registration eligibility with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Familiarity with lab and imaging equipment
