Part Time Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist

Be part of the healthcare team at Bonnyville Healthcare Centre as a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I. This part-time position focuses on both laboratory tasks and diagnostic imaging procedures in rural settings. As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will conduct detailed laboratory analyses and X-ray examinations.

This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Your tasks will include everything from patient preparation to maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment, along with quality control checks to ensure accurate results. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze biological specimens and prepare for further testing
• Perform X-ray examinations and report findings accurately
• Manage laboratory equipment and supplies efficiently
• Carry out necessary quality control procedures and documentation
• Train and orient new team members effectively Requirements:
• Diploma from an accredited Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology program
• Registration eligibility with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Familiarity with lab and imaging equipment
