NOC Analyst

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled NOC Engineer with experience in network monitoring, alert management, and incident handling within enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should be capable of managing global client escalations, ensuring timely resolution of network issues, and maintaining high service availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network infrastructure using monitoring tools and respond to alerts in real-time
Perform incident management, including logging, tracking, and resolving network issues
Raise and manage tickets through ticketing systems
Participate in incident bridge calls and provide timely updates to stakeholders
Coordinate with clients and internal teams for issue resolution
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams as required
Handle global client escalations related to network monitoring and configuration issues
Troubleshoot network-related issues involving routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
Work with local ISPs for connectivity and outage-related issues

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of network monitoring and alert handling
Experience in incident management and ticketing systems
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
Hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF configuration and troubleshooting
Good communication skills for client and stakeholder coordination
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment
Daily Activities:
Monitor alerts and network performance dashboards
Raise and update incident tickets
Join bridge calls for critical incidents
Communicate with stakeholders and provide status updates
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues

Qualifications & Experience:
·4+ years of experience in network operations and support environments.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
· Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
· Experience with IP service management (change and incident management).
· Knowledge of technologies such as Cisco Meraki, ASA firewall, Juniper hardware, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft enterprise suite.
· Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Cacti, MRTG, SolarWinds).
· ITIL, CCNA, JNCIA, VCA, or Microsoft certifications desirable.
