IT Security Risk Assessment Specialist

Support a defense client as an IT Security Threat Risk Assessment Analyst. Utilize your expertise in policy advisement and incident response within a classified environment.

This role demands extensive experience, focusing on long-term strategic objectives as well as daily departmental operations. You'll monitor systems, propose improvements to legislation, and guide public agency planning. Your work will also involve researching and implementing policies to enhance operational effectiveness while ensuring consistency in documentation and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate departmental operations
• Propose amendments to governance and risk management guidelines
• Advise on public agency planning and performance
• Develop and suggest new policies and procedures
• Review documents for consistency with government positions

Requirements

• 10+ years as an IT Security Analyst
• Incident Response experience for classified networks
• Expertise in Threat Risk Assessments (TRA)
• Knowledge of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes
• Valid federal government Top Secret Clearance
