Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Data Engineer to support the migration of Capital Markets Investment Analytics assets to enterprise Snowflake and Azure cloud platforms. This role is critical in modernizing data pipelines, analytics platforms, and systematic investment infrastructure used across trading, execution, and research functions.

Who You’ll Work With

You will collaborate closely with software engineers and capital markets investment professionals, reporting to a Senior Manager, Solution & Quality Engineering. The role operates within an agile, high-impact analytics and engineering environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement a scalable data and cloud migration framework to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption
• Lead and support migration of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics workloads to Snowflake and Azure
• Modernize legacy assets (e.g., SSIS, stored procedures, Python analytics) to DBT, Airflow, AKS, and Snowflake
• Maintain and enhance cloud-based platforms supporting systematic investment, trading, and research workflows
• Establish and promote data engineering, deployment, and cloud best practices
• Develop new analytics and engineering solutions in support of capital markets desks
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery commitments
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in cloud and/or data engineering
• Strong experience migrating data and data engineering assets to cloud platforms
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Data & Databases: Snowflake, DBT, Airflow/Astronomer, SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS
• Cloud & Containers: Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker
• DevOps & Agile: Git, Jenkins, Jira, Nexus
• Languages: SQL, Python
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and capital markets stakeholders
