Software Engineer (Backend) – AICamp (Remote | Full-Time)

Experience: 3+ Years in TypeScript Ecosystem

Compensation : To the market

About The Role

We’re expanding our team at AICamp and looking for a Software Engineer (BackEnd) who can do more than just write code. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building, scaling, and optimizing real-world products in the TypeScript ecosystem.

If you’ve got 3+ years of experience with Node.js and Next.js, thrive in fast-moving environments, and are excited about integrating GenAI capabilities into production systems, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be working on integrations, RAG pipelines, prompt evaluations, fine-tuning, and agent workflows all while helping us ship features that directly serve our customers.

What You’ll Work On

  • Building and scaling backend APIs with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Developing robust and performant frontends with Next.js
  • Designing and implementing integrations with AI models, APIs, and databases
  • Working on GenAI-specific workflows: RAG, prompt evals, fine-tuning, agent orchestration
  • Collaborating with the team to experiment, prototype, and ship production-ready features
  • Contributing to deployment, testing, and monitoring pipelines

You Should Know (or Be Ready To Learn Fast)

  • Node.js, Next.js, and TypeScript (3+ years hands-on experience required)
  • Database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and API-driven development
  • Modern development practices: testing, CI/CD, deployments
  • Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • How GenAI workflows fit into real-world applications (RAG, LLM agents, fine-tuning)

About AICamp

AICamp is a small, fast-moving startup building Agentic AI Workspaces — helping teams create and deploy internal AI agents.

We care less about hype and more about how AI is actually used in day-to-day work. At AICamp, you’ll work directly with the founders, ship features fast, and learn how AI products are built, tested, and adopted — all in a remote, collaborative setup.

What You’ll Get Out of This

  • A front-row seat to how AI-first products are designed, built, and scaled
  • A chance to ship features that directly serve customers — not just internal tooling
  • Direct access to the founding team — no corporate layers
  • Freedom to experiment, break things, and build smarter workflows
  • Exposure to both engineering and the business side of AI product development
