Technical Writer III

Technical writers do a lot of work on their own typically, but this role is heavy team based, and interacting with a really wide variety of stakeholders.Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Technical Writer III in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta. Total rewards:$50.00 - $60.00 hourly6 Months of contract positionA typical day:Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.Technical writer with good understanding of document and quality control in a regulated environment.A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements in document control and quality assurance.Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.Successful candidates will have:Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Technical writer with good understanding of document and quality control in a regulated environment.SharePoint skills– proficiency in using SharePoint for collaborative work, version control.

Advanced skills in Microsoft word – styles management, complex document formatting, template creating

Visio – proficiency in creating workflows for Processes

Proficiency in editing and using advanced features in Adobe.Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAdaptability to learn new software and processes as needed.Ability to interact with subject matter experts and gather necessary technical information.This posting is for an active opening.
