Job Description

Take charge as a Water Projects Engineer within Municipal Engineering. Focus on designing sustainable water infrastructure while working collaboratively in a consulting environment on South Vancouver Island.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of municipal projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior engineers, fostering a supportive work culture. Your technical acumen and client interaction will be essential for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee municipal water and stormwater project execution
  • Coordinate engineering tasks and documentation
  • Act as Engineer-of-Record on infrastructure developments
  • Support contract administration and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects and proposals

Requirements

  • At least 6 years in civil engineering, design roles
  • Experience with water and stormwater infrastructure
  • Eligible for PEng registration in British Columbia
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Valid BC Class V Driver's License preferred
