Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency specialized Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. These roles involve providing high-quality nursing care to patients in under-serviced communities.

Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality, compassionate, and timely nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Triage, assess, prioritize, and stabilize patients based on the severity of their condition.
Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Assisting with diagnostic procedures and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining clear, timely medical records.
Responding effectively to medical emergencies and life-threatening situations.
Educating patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintaining compliance with professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum 1 year experience working in specialty
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CTAS
PALS, TNCC, NRP - is considered an asset
Completion of specialty from a designated program with certification is preferred
Satisfactory criminal record/vulnerable sector check within past year
Record of immunizations and TB skin test within past year
