You will lead enterprise-wide security assurance and compliance programs while building scalable, automated, and continuous assurance.
The Opportunity Join our ambitious team at Adobe as a System Engineer (Jira Cloud) in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. This outstanding opportunity allows you to work on managing and optimizing our on-prem Jira instances, collaborating with world-class engineering teams, and successfully applying standard methodologies for Jira. Job description summary
- Participate in managing Adobe on-prem Jira instances including Jira and plugin upgrades.
- Troubleshoot server performance, exceptions, errors and debugging logs.
- Work with infrastructure support teams to keep hardware updated and patched.
- Identify opportunities, troubleshoot and improve automations that help users and admins.
- Participate in the on-call schedule, with 12 hour IST time zone shifts.
- Manage, troubleshoot and optimize Jira workflows, fields, issue types, permissions, notifications, filters, boards, dashboards.
- Identify areas for improvement, optimization, and consolidation.
- Advise Engineering teams on best practices for Jira.
- Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels.
What you will need to succeed:
- 5-8 years of total experience with 3+ years of Jira Administration.
- Experience handling JIRA Cloud migration planning and implementation, Jira operations and customizing Jira project configurations.
- A scripting language preferably Python or Groovy.
- Strong work ethic, good time management skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, fast learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience working with Atlassian tools, especially Jira and Confluence.
- SQL skills, database knowledge
- Unix command line
- Experience with CI/CD tools and build and release process
- Experience with managing Jira for scale; with Jira SaaS ; JIRA Cloud migration planning and implementation
- Agile methodology knowledge and experience
