Associate Manager - Information Technology

Purpose/Objective To design, implement and manage the IT infrastructure, systems and data processing.

Ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems and networks, which include maximizing uptime, strategic planning, managing networks and servers, implementing security measures, optimizing resources, and managing the IT budget

Key Responsibilities of Role

Description for Internal Candidates * Key Responsibilities of Role Roles & Responsibilities Design, Plan and implement IT infrastructure and Data centers, including the operational areas like Jetty, Yard, Facilities etc.

This includes preparation of BOQ, AMCs and vendor management.

Managing the subordinates and their performance evaluation based on key result areas and key performance indicators, Provide for a highly reliable IT infrastructure and computer systems for all activities and services of the port Operational Responsibilities - Implement and maintain cyber security measures and compliance with industry standards.

Closely coordinate with central cyber security team to ensure It & OT systems are safe.

• Ensure network systems, servers, and data centers are functioning optimally.
• Conduct System audits and performance Reviews.

Lead efforts to quickly address and rectify IT-related incidents.

• Plan and implement high availability, disaster recovery management of IT infrastructure and systems ensuring optimal performance of business services.
• Implement tools and processes for effective monitoring of networks, hardware, applications, storage and IT services.
• Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with latest hardware and software.
• Assist in the implementation of quality management systems and procedures.
• Coordinating with various external stakeholders as and when required.
• Implement business application.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives People Management Helping team members develop their skills and capabilities, and providing support and guidance as needed.
