Description
We are seeking a motivated and organized Training Coordinator to support employee development and training initiatives within a growing manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with Human Resources and department leaders to coordinate, deliver, and track training for new and existing employees. The Training Coordinator will play a key role in developing training programs, conducting orientations, maintaining training records, and ensuring employees have the knowledge and resources needed to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new hire orientations and safety training.
- Train employees on company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Coordinate and maintain training schedules across multiple departments.
- Assist with the development and implementation of training programs, materials, presentations, and videos.
- Communicate training schedules and requirements to employees and supervisors.
- Track employee training progress and maintain accurate training records.
- Generate reports on training completion, effectiveness, and outcomes.
- Identify and assist in developing departmental trainers.
- Promote employee participation in training and development opportunities.
- Recommend training methods, materials, and resources to improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain training equipment and training materials.
- Partner with Human Resources and management to identify training needs and opportunities.
- Provide procedural and technical instruction to employees as needed.
- Answer employee questions and assist with problem resolution.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement activities.
- Conduct retraining sessions when required.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
- Follow all quality standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in employee training, coaching, teaching, or workforce development.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable presenting information to large groups.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Education
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
- Good vision and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to manufacturing conditions.
