Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our clinic, responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from check-in to check-out. This position requires excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage various responsibilities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify insurance information and conduct demographic intake.
• Manage intake paperwork and enter data into the EMR system.
• Answer inbound calls and address patient questions and concerns.
• Coordinate closely with the PT team to manage daily schedules.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in a medical office or a similar.
• Proficient in customer service within a healthcare setting.
• Skilled in insurance verification.
• Able to proactively solve problems and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Possess an outgoing personality to represent the clinic effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical front desk, clinic, or healthcare administration.
• Experience in PT, orthopedics, or specialty clinic settings is preferred.

Work Environment

You will join a team of two people in this role and report to the PT Supervisor. The work environment is dynamic, requiring coordination with various team members to ensure a cohesive operation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raritan, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
