Job description
Achieve is hiring a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the product strategy and technical execution for our newly created Third-Party Originations (TPO) channel. As a key partner to the General Manager of TPO and Lending executive leadership, you will be the architectural and product visionary responsible for building the digital infrastructure that allows brokers and correspondents to seamlessly originate Achieve’s best-in-class HELOCs and future lending products.
This is a high-impact, "founding" product role for a new business line. You will define the roadmap for our TPO ecosystem - spanning partner portals, API integrations with LOS/POS vendors, and automated decisioning - to drive massive growth in loan origination volume and channel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
TPO Strategy & Roadmap: Partner with the GM of TPO to develop and execute a multi-year product vision. You will define how we onboard third-party originators (wholesale and correspondent) and how we win in a competitive mortgage intermediary landscape.
Platform Development: Lead the development of our TPO lending ecosystem. This includes building seamless partner experiences, and robust API integrations that connect Achieve’s internal systems with external broker and correspondent tech stacks.
TPO broker portal: Spearheaded the design and launch of a high-conversion self-service portal, leading sprint cycles to deliver a frictionless user journey while maintaining deep alignment with Retail HELOC product strategies and understanding of TPO competitive landscape..
Automated Decisioning & Integration: Collaborate with the Lead Qualification and Decisioning teams to ensure real-time automated underwriting and risk-appropriate pricing are integrated into the TPO workflow to maximize conversion and speed-to-fund.
Channel Growth & Optimization: Take accountability for critical channel metrics, including partner onboarding speed, pull-through rates, and loan origination volume. Identify friction points in the broker journey and iterate rapidly to resolve them.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central hub between Engineering, Capital Markets, Sales, Underwriting & Ops, Risk, and Compliance. You will translate complex mortgage industry requirements into scalable technical specifications.
External Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key third-party technology collaborators (e.g., LOS/POS vendors) to ensure Achieve’s products are prioritized and deeply integrated into their ecosystems.
Experience: 10+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record in Mortgage TPO, Fintech, or Lending platforms. You have successfully built and scaled complex B2B or partner-facing applications.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the TPO industry, including the nuances of wholesale vs. correspondent channels, mortgage origination workflows, and lien (HELOC/HELOAN) products.
Technical Prowess: Experience with API-first product development, mortgage LOS integrations, and automated decisioning/rules engines. You can hold your own in architectural discussions with senior engineers.
Data-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to leverage data to spot optimization opportunities, run quantitative tests, and report results to executive leadership.
Execution Excellence: A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to manage intricate initiatives from inception to launch in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can simplify complex technical and regulatory constraints for diverse audiences and influence without authority.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
