Job description

The Opportunity:

As the Continuous Improvement Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing enterprise-wide projects with the goal of optimizing key functions and launching new initiatives. The Project Manager will set aggressive milestones for key phases of assigned projects and keep senior leadership well informed of progress throughout the life of each project. 

    What you’ll do:

     

    • Lead large enterprise wide projects and monitor performance post- launch
    • Create a detailed project plan including specific target dates and milestones for key phases of the project from current state analysis to future state implementation, and then follow that plan to timely completion
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, business partners, and senior leadership in gathering and suggesting important requirements for success while also providing regular project status updates
    • Perform a thorough risk assessment before implementing any new and significant process improvements and properly weigh anticipated benefits with associated risks
    • Complete process mapping, business analysis and workflow design for assigned projects
    • Validate business requirements, user testing strategies and identify scalable solutions
    • Lead all organizational change management efforts in partnership with key business leaders, while identifying key change agents throughout the organization that can help facilitate the changes
    • Ensure that effective controls are in place to ensure that project results are sustainable over time as the organization grows
    • Provide additional expertise and support on other continuous improvement efforts within the organization as needed

    What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (one year of higher education is equal to one year of experience), AND a minimum of 6 months of project management experience leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience would provide an equivalent background
    • Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders and projects as well as 3rd party partners in a project management capacity
    • Ability to establish trust and credibility throughout senior leadership; demonstrates unwavering integrity and fierce accountability
    • Collaboration skills in a matrixed environment, including providing consultative guidance to help solve enterprise level issues
    • Possess an understanding of scope definition, process and solution mapping; process structures and components; and standard project planning methodologies
    • Experience supporting projects with complex deliverables, including information technology and dependencies across organizations
    • Strong data analysis skills
    • Knowledge of task tracking and mapping tools (e.g. Atlassian, Smarsheet, Vizio, Lucidchart)
    • Familiar with Google Drive and G-Suite products
    • Proven experience in leading successful change management efforts
    • Strong relationship management skills and proven experience in building partnerships
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to effectively persuade and influence at all levels of the organization
    • Effective time management and prioritization skills in order to meet aggressive deadlines
