The work
The Deputy Release Manager plays a key role in overseeing the end‑to‑end release management lifecycle for SAP and enterprise software initiatives. This role coordinates with cross‑functional teams to plan, schedule, and control releases while ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and iterative development cycles. The Deputy Release Manager is responsible for maintaining release schedules, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring that all deployment activities follow established best practices. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support large‑scale software deployments in fast‑paced environments. Experience with release management tools, SAP systems, and change‑management processes is highly beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the end‑to‑end release lifecycle for SAP projects and related initiatives
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan, schedule, and execute software releases in an Agile environment
- Ensure release deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Identify, manage, and mitigate release‑related risks and issues
- Maintain detailed release documentation and communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Support continuous improvement of release processes, tools, and governance practices

Here’s what you need:
- 7+ years of SAP experience
- Experience supporting release management or coordinating software deployments in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Agile principles and iterative development cycles
- Experience with release management or work‑tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Gantt charts, etc.)
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks, track milestones, and ensure on‑time delivery
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting large‑scale SAP initiatives or enterprise deployments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps concepts, or automated release processes
- Familiarity with change‑management frameworks and processes
- Background in risk management or release governance

- US Citizenship required (no dual citizenship)
- Ability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearance
