Senior Instructional Design Manager

The senior manager - instructional designer is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of impactful learning solutions aligned with organisational goals. The role combines instructional design expertise with strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and project oversight to create engaging learning experiences across digital, virtual, and classroom environments. This position collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders, and cross-functional teams to develop scalable learning programmes that improve employee performance, capability building, and organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions using ADDIE, SAM, Agile, or other instructional design methodologies.
• Create eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), microlearning, simulations, videos, and blended learning programmes.
• Conduct training needs analysis and identify learning gaps.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, assessments, learner guides, and facilitator materials.
• Ensure learning content aligns with adult learning principles and business objectives.

Learning Technology and Innovation:

• Utilise LMS/LXP platforms and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Integrate multimedia, AI-enabled learning tools, and interactive technologies into training solutions.
• Ensure accessibility and compliance standards (e. g., WCAG) are followed.
