Automation Testing Engineer

As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will design, implement, and execute automated test solutions for modern data platforms. You'll work with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and CI/CD pipelines to validate data pipelines, transformations, and BI reporting solutions, ensuring accuracy and reliability across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable automated test frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.
• Validate data transformations within Delta Lake tables and monitor production pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, QA, and Business Analysts to define test cases.
• Document test strategies, cases, results, and maintain compliance traceability.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of data quality issues.

Here is what you need:

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree + 1 year relevant experience OR 3 years relevant experience.

Bonus Points if you have:

• Experience with automated test frameworks and data quality validation.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and Data Lakehouse transformations.
• Familiarity with BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
