Job Description
The work:
Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on AWS platforms. This role combines technical expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT modernization to support mission-critical operations for a national security system. The ideal candidate will have experience in system engineering, enterprise architecture, and cloud infrastructure design, with a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Here's what you need:
- 2+ years experience in design and/or support of AWS-based platforms
- 1+ years deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Ability to work onsite 80-100% in Annapolis Junction, MD
- Active Secret clearance required
- US Citizenship
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a large federal contract environment
- Experience working in a SAFe ( Scaled Agile Framework) environment
- Experience in Cloud Migration
