Intern Associate Engineer - Cloud - CD1 Location: Kanata, ON ABOUT WIND RIVER Within the Wind River Cloud team, we work with large-scale projects including Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack and fast-paced Open-Source technologies that are in high demand from our customers. In your daily work you will: Contribute to the design and implementation of OS components with guidance from senior engineers Develop high-quality, maintainable code and tests within a CI/CD and agile environment Debug and resolve issues found during testing or reported by internal teams Write clear technical documentation for designs and implementations Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, tools, and verification Learn and apply best practices in real-time, safety-critical software development Key Skills and Competencies for succeeding in this role: BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. Strong in C, C++, RTOS Fundamentals. Good understanding of automation tools, technology landscape, and OOPS concepts. Good understanding of embedded systems and familiarity in building and developing SW modules Interest or experience with leveraging AI to improve productivity Driver and board-level system software test development and integration. Completed embedded courses from any reputed institutes like Cranes/Vector. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
