Reporting to the Senior Manager, Medical Affairs, the Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing projects that support physicians and nurse practitioners while advancing the quality of care provided to residents. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to leverage their experience and make a positive impact in the long-term care sector.

This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario, following a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of project activities, ensuring that all project timelines, and objectives are met.

  • Support internal teams such as Operations, Finance, and Human Resources  on recruitment, onboarding, and collaboration with physicians and nurse practitioners.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, presentation slide decks, and status reports.

  • Review and update physician and nurse practitioner contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with provincial legislation and requirements.

  • Maintain the national practitioner database, Medical Affairs Toolkit, and other shared resources, ensuring physician and nurse practitioner information remains current and well-organized.

  • Develop and present reports and summaries on quality of care and medical practitioner insights to drive evidence-based decision making.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • 1–3 years’ related experience in healthcare administrative, coordination, or project support.

  • Background or exposure to healthcare, long-term care, or a clinical setting is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze & leverage data to identify recommended courses of action.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a polished, professional tone.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

  • Discretion and professionalism handling confidential information.

  • Eager to learn the clinical and operational context of long-term care.
