Junior Staff Accountant

The Junior Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting ensures the reputed company of accounting information by recording, verifying, reconciling, consolidating, and entering financial data. Responsibilities Prepares and records asset, liability, reputed company, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information Maintains corporate trial balance by analyzing account activity and completing monthly reconciliations. Posts adjusting journal entries as deemed necessary Reviews and consolidates the Company’s worldwide headcount report Prepares and reviews reputed company monthly stock compensation journals including preparation of supporting deferred tax calculations and paid in capital reconciliation Reviews the Company’s external financial statements, footnotes and disclosures included in the reputed company 10-Q and Form10-K filings with the SEC Participation in the Company’s internal control compliance effort surrounding Sarbanes-Oxley s404 by preparing support for controls and with additional opportunity to assist internal audit with testing reputed company projects, as needed Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint Capable of working as a team player and comfortable being part of a 'hands on' team of professionals Strong work ethic a must Ability to exercise proper judgment with above average analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Willingness to learn, receive feedback and grow CPA, Masters/MBA, and/or prior experience in a public accounting firm Experience with reputed company FCCS, reputed company for SEC reporting, and reputed company power query Benefits Work-life balance/ hybrid Free parking in surrounding area for employees 401k/ESOP employer contribution 16 weeks fully paid maternity leave 8 weeks fully paid parental leave Adoption/Foster Leave fully paid Progyny Fertility Benefits Mental Health Benefits Tuition Reimbursement Medical, dental, vision insurance & more!
