FAQ
Where does the salary data come from?
Our salary estimates are based on real salary data from active job postings indexed on TryApplyNow. We aggregate salary_min and salary_max fields from job listings to calculate ranges, medians, and percentiles.
How accurate are these salary estimates?
The estimates reflect what employers are actually posting in their job listings. They may differ from final negotiated salaries, but they give a reliable baseline for what companies are offering. The more job postings we have for a role, the more accurate the estimate.
What do the percentiles mean?
The 25th percentile means 25% of jobs pay below this amount. The median (50th percentile) is the middle value. The 75th percentile means 75% of jobs pay below this amount. The range between P25 and P75 represents where most salaries fall.
Can I see salary data for any job title?
You can search for any job title. If we have matching job postings with salary data, you'll see results. Try broader titles (e.g., 'Engineer' vs 'Senior Staff ML Platform Engineer') if your specific search returns no results.
