About the Role
We are a Canada-based IT consulting and staffing setup expanding into the US and Canada markets. We are building a lean, high-performance operation and are looking for a highly dependable, execution-focused professional to work directly with the founder.
This is not a routine recruiter role. This is a core “right hand” position responsible for driving recruitment delivery, business development support, and digital presence. You will be expected to take ownership, operate independently, and contribute to building a scalable staffing operation from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Business Development & Client Outreach:
- Conduct structured daily outreach to US/Canada-based recruiters, vendors, and staffing companies via LinkedIn and email
- Initiate and manage conversations to identify active IT contract requirements
- Participate in initial vendor/client discussions and confidently represent our capabilities
- Build and nurture relationships with staffing partners and subcontracting vendors
- Maintain a pipeline of active opportunities and track engagement status
🔹 Recruitment & Candidate Pipeline:
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates across key IT domains:
- ServiceNow (CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, etc.)
- Project/Program Management
- Business Analysis
- Cloud / Infrastructure roles
- Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-submit candidate pipeline
- Ensure high-quality, relevant submissions within tight turnaround timelines
- Coordinate interview scheduling, follow-ups, and candidate communication
- Maintain structured candidate tracking and availability records
🔹 LinkedIn Strategy & Digital Outreach:
- Manage and execute daily LinkedIn outreach strategy (connections, messaging, follow-ups)
- Support and manage LinkedIn company page activity (content posting, engagement, visibility)
- Identify and engage in relevant LinkedIn groups (C2C, staffing, vendor networks)
- Draft and refine outreach messaging for higher response and conversion rates
🔹 Website & Basic Marketing Operations:
- Support basic website updates (WordPress / Squarespace or similar platforms)
- Assist in maintaining a professional digital presence (content updates, service descriptions, etc.)
- Contribute to simple marketing activities such as posting updates, sharing hotlists, and improving visibility
- Work with the founder to refine positioning and messaging
🔹 Operations & Execution Management:
- Maintain daily trackers for outreach, candidates, and opportunities
- Provide structured daily and weekly updates on progress
- Ensure disciplined follow-ups across all conversations
- Drive execution independently with minimal supervision
- Continuously improve workflows and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in US IT staffing / recruitment
- Strong understanding of C2C, W2, and subcontracting models
- Proven experience in LinkedIn sourcing, outreach, and recruiter/vendor interaction
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Confidence in speaking with US/Canada-based recruiters and vendors
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities across recruitment, outreach, and operations
- High level of ownership, discipline, and accountability
Nice to Have
- Experience in business development or vendor management in IT staffing
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, or CRM tools
- Basic experience in website/content management
- Exposure to digital marketing or online engagement
