This is a hybrid role based in San Jose, CA reporting to Director, Product Management. You will be a hands-on leader responsible for driving reliability and scalability and Cloud Operations initiatives for the ZIA and ZPA cloud platforms. This is a high-visibility role where you will drive critical projects to scale our architecture to 1 trillion transactions and beyond, ensuring our Zero Trust Exchange remains the global leader in cloud security. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement the ZIA/ZPA RAS roadmap by defining problem statements, collecting requirements, and managing critical programs across the cloud lifecycle</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead pre- and post-sales customer engagements regarding cloud resilience, building trust through transparent roadmap discussions and RCA reviews</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Monitor ongoing cloud incidents and escalations to identify recurring themes and direct cross-functional teams on comprehensive improvement plans</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as the primary subject matter expert for field teams, providing technical education and support for all RAS-related inquiries</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with cloud architects and software engineers to ensure the platform balances rapid growth with extreme stability</li> </ul> Who You Are (Success Profile) <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">You thrive in ambiguity. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.</li> </ul> What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">12+ years of industry experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Technical Product Management</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep technical expertise in network security and protocols including proxies, firewalls, TLS, PKI, and HTTP/S</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven experience with cloud-native services at hyper-scalers or major SaaS providers</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture and resilience patterns such as clustering, cascading failure prevention, and observability principles</li> </ul> What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Expertise in translating complex customer needs into actionable product requirements and internal conviction</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong data analytics skills with the ability to define hypotheses, analyze large datasets, and communicate results to stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Direct hands-on experience with Zscaler products including ZIA, ZPA, or ZDX</li> </ul> #LI-Hybrid  #LI-CM3<div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level.
