Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform (.NET, Kubernetes)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing team building cloud-based systems that power connected, real-world technology.

In this role, you’ll work hands-on across backend development, Kubernetes, and CI/CD while also contributing to system design and mentoring other engineers. This is an opportunity to build scalable services end-to-end and step into a more senior-level role with increasing architectural influence—without moving into people management.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build backend services using .NET / C#
• Develop and support microservices running in Kubernetes environments
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in production
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Collaborate on system design, scalability, and performance improvements
• Ensure secure and reliable service-to-service communication
• Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance

What You Bring

• 4–7+ years of experience in backend or software engineering
• Strong development experience with C# / .NET
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building or working with distributed or microservices-based systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with authentication/authorization tools such as Keycloak
• Knowledge of certificate management / secure communications (SSL/TLS)

Compensation

$115,000 – $135,000 CAD + bonus
