Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCognitive is seeking a Technical Writer who will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, maintains and documents meeting outcomes and action items, explains complex information in a clear and concise manner, and work with our development teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.This position is Contingent based upon contract award.Duties :Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manualsResearch, develop and document technical design specifications and test scriptsProduce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manualsMaintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentationAnalyze documents to maintain continuity of style of contentManage updates and revisions to technical literatureManage and maintains meeting documentationRequired Skills :Experience in documenting technical content, including software specifications, product release notes, and product user guidesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS OfficeStrong attention to detailSkilled at prioritization and multi-taskingRequired Education, Experience, and Clearance :Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for educationProven experience working in a technical writing positionAbility to obtain a Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)US Citizenship requiredNice to Have :Experience supporting healthcare applicationsExperience in Agile Software DevelopmentExperience working on Government contracts.
