Zimetrics - Senior Frontend Engineer - React.js/React Native

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, building production-grade applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with React for web applications
• Hands-on experience with React Native for iOS and Android development
• Experience building API-integrated, component-driven applications
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development
• Experience with state management patterns (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and CI/CD workflows
• Strong understanding of frontend security best practices
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React (Web) and React Native (iOS/Android)
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces across devices and platforms
• Develop and integrate with API-driven architectures (REST/GraphQL)
• Implement state management solutions (Redux, Context API, or modern alternatives)
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance requirements (HIPAA-aligned UI/data handling)
• Optimize performance, rendering efficiency, and application responsiveness
• Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT-based sessions)
• Collaborate closely with backend, mobile, product, and design teams
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build/release processes
• Enforce UI engineering best practices, including reusable components and design systems
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality (e.g., Claude Code)
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues and production defects across platforms
