Key Responsibilities

The Senior O365 Engineer will:

• Provide O365 administration, including Exchange administration, Quest Archive Manager administration, Active Directory administration, and mail flow troubleshooting.
• Deliver Tier 3 messaging support and perform FOIA and legal searches using Microsoft Purview.
• Manage user administration for email and Microsoft Teams.
• Coordinate assistance and guidance to customers within agreed service timelines.
• Identify solutions to customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support to Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, and other IT staff.
• Deliver technical training when requested by management.
• Monitor systems and proactively respond to technical issues.
• Provide after-hours support when required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Experience with Exchange / Outlook configuration and administration
• Knowledge of eDiscovery and Microsoft Purview
• Experience managing Microsoft Teams policies
• Microsoft license administration
• Experience with Quest Archive Manager

Infrastructure Knowledge

• Active Directory administration
• Domain Controllers
• File and Print services
• DNS, DHCP, FTP, IIS
• Internet communication protocols
• Windows / Linux / VMware environments
• Server administration and software tools

Professional Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical staff
• Strong collaboration and customer service skills
• Experience supporting executive leadership and business stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent education and experience)
• Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience
