Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship full-stack features across the product suite - from React front-ends to Python/Node.js back-ends to database schemas.
- Build agent-facing interfaces: dashboards that visualize AI reasoning, confidence scores, and decision graphs in real time. Make abstract intelligence tangible and actionable for physicians, practice managers, and leadership.
- Develop APIs and data pipelines that connect agents to each other (A2A communication), to external systems (EHRs, payer portals, clearinghouses).
- Collaborate directly with AI engineers building the agent logic - you own the product layer that wraps their models into usable, fast, reliable software.
- Build feedback loops: instrument every product surface so that user interactions (physician corrections, manager overrides, billing edits) become learning signals that improve agent accuracy over time.
- Ship with healthcare-grade reliability. Your code handles PHI (Protected Health Information), so you build with HIPAA compliance, audit trails, role-based access control, and data encryption as non-negotiable defaults.
- Own your features end-to-end: write the PRD, build the front-end, wire the back-end, write the tests, deploy it, and monitor it in production. This is a high-autonomy environment.
- Participate in the 100x engineering culture: work in Claude Code, ship in weekly sprints, contribute to the engineering leaderboard, and present your work at Saturday integrated reviews.
Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, Node.js
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
- AI/Agent Layer: Claude Code, LangGraph, ADK (Agent Development Kit), MCP Servers, A2A protocol
- Data: FHIR/HL7 integrations
- Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Grafana, Linear
- Collaboration: Slack, Notion, Linear - integrated with automated agent briefings
Skills and qualifications:
- 2-4 years of professional full-stack engineering experience with production-deployed applications.
- Strong proficiency in React (or Next.js) and TypeScript on the front-end. You build fast, accessible, and well-structured UIs - not just functional ones.
- Solid back-end skills in Python (FastAPI preferred) or Node.js. You can design APIs, write database queries, and think about system architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Comfortable with schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
- Ability to work with ambiguity. You can take a loosely defined problem, break it down, propose an approach, and ship iteratively without waiting for a 50-page spec.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You will write memos, present at reviews, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and leadership.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with AI/LLM APIs, agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph), or building interfaces for AI-powered products.
- Healthcare domain exposure: EHR integrations, FHIR/HL7, revenue cycle management, clinical workflows, or HIPAA-compliant systems.
- Experience with real-time data visualization (Grafana, D3.js, Recharts) or building operational dashboards.
- Familiarity with Claude Code or AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience at a high-growth startup where you owned features end-to-end.
Please feel free to apply even if you're an 80% match to the above, we're looking for the right combination of skills + attitude.
