Senior Fullstack Engineer- Quick Commerce/SaaS

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused) to build and scale a Supply Chain Planning Platform that drives purchase order creation, inventory transfers, and replenishment decisions across the network.

This platform processes large-scale operational and demand datasets and runs optimization algorithms that directly impact product availability, working capital efficiency, and customer experience.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Demand Analysts, Buyers, and Data Science teams to design high-performance systems supporting both real-time and batch planning workflows across LATAM markets.

Tech Stack

• Languages & Frameworks: Python, Django, Golang, Node.js, Kotlin/Java, React.js, JavaScript
• Architecture: RESTful APIs, Microservices / SOA
• Databases: PostgreSQL (AWS RDS), MongoDB
• Caching: Redis or equivalent
• Infrastructure: Docker, AWS / GCP
• Data Processing: Large-scale batch & real-time datasets

Key Responsibilities Platform & System Development

• Design and build scalable backend systems for:
• Purchase Order (PO) creation & optimization
• Transfer Order (TO) planning across fulfillment nodes
• Inventory allocation & replenishment engines
• Develop APIs and services for enterprise planning workflows
• Build algorithm-driven modules for demand & inventory optimization
• Support both real-time and batch processing pipelines

Architecture & Scalability

• Define backend architecture ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
• Design data models and pipelines for high-throughput systems
• Optimize database queries and data access layers
• Implement caching and distributed systems for performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Operations, and Data Science teams
• Translate supply chain requirements into scalable solutions
• Work with business users (buyers, demand analysts) to improve efficiency

Engineering Excellence

• Drive best practices in testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation
• Conduct code and design reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
• Contribute to long-term technical roadmap

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4–7 years of backend/full-stack experience in data-intensive platforms
• Experience with high-volume data processing systems
• Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and reliability
• Proven experience mentoring engineers
• Strong analytical mindset and ownership attitude
