Job Description
Role Summary The Sales Manager / Sr. Sales Manager LAS will be responsible for acquiring new LAS (Loan Against Securities) customers, managing relationships with existing clients, and driving portfolio growth through strategic engagement with wealth channels, DSA partners, and direct sourcing. The role demands strong market knowledge of secured lending, understanding of capital markets, and the ability to deliver highquality customer experience while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Source new LAS customers through direct channels, wealth teams, DSA/CPA networks, and corporate relationships.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for disbursement, portfolio growth, and revenue.
- Crosssell related products: OD against shares, MF LAS, ESOP financing, loan against bonds, etc.
2. Portfolio Management
- Ensure highquality portfolio with minimal delinquency.
- Monitor client portfolios & collateral values; coordinate for topups and margin calls.
- Engage with existing customers for renewals, limit enhancements, and relationship deepening.
3. Channel & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholderswealth managers, RM teams, branch banking, and investment product teams.
- Manage and strengthen DSA/Channel partner productivity.
- Conduct regular training sessions for channels on LAS product features, processes, and documentation.
4. Customer Experience
- Maintain TAT and service quality across acquisition and postsales processes.
- Provide advisoryled engagement to customers on leverage strategies and LAS solutions.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, credit guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of LAS products: Mutual Fund LAS, Equity LAS, Structured LAS, ESOP funding.
- Knowledge of capital markets, securities, and lending regulations.
- Strong sales ability with negotiation and closure skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and clienthandling skills.
- Portfolio monitoring and risk awareness.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Education
- Graduate/MBA (Finance/Marketing preferred)
Experience
- Sales Manager: 25 years in LAS / secured lending / wealth lending
- Senior Sales Manager: 5–8+ years in LAS or related asset classes
Industry Preference:
- Private banks, NBFCs, Wealth Management firms, Broking houses
