State Compensation Board (SCB) is seeking a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain C# program code for our future and ongoing projects. You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.

We are seeking a C#/Angular/SQL Server developer to build and maintain high-quality applications. The ideal candidate has experience with large, menu-driven business systems (e.g., claims, payroll, medical, or insurance) and is skilled in handling data across screens, managing large datasets, processing transactions (add/update/delete), and developing screens and reports.

Strong expertise in C# and the .NET framework is required, along with solid problem-solving skills. This role involves ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of .NET applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Advising agency on architecture and security concerns associated with Azure including in-place migrations/refactoring.
• Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
• Creating in-house applications using the.NET framework.
• Debugging and maintaining written code (no API's).
• Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
• Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
• Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
• Working in a project team alongside other developers.
• Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
• Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
• Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

Required Skills And Experience

• C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher)
• Angular (gRPC would be a plus)
• SQL Server
• Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge of building and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
• Knowledge of other coding-languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) would be a plus.
• Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary.
• Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
• Experience with working in an agile environment.

$95-100k/A with benefits
