This job is for you if your true strength is the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively to get you through even the most demanding of situations.</div> <div> </div> <div>As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a fast-moving team of engineering professionals who solve quality assurance problems for customized parts. The QA Engineer is responsible for assisting the Senior Director in developing the quality system following corporate policies, goals and objectives and the requirements of AS9100.</div> Process and Quality Assurance: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Enhance Supplier Quality Culture by leading or participating in process improvement projects to further develop the quality programs and procedures - Setting our Global Partner Network up for success</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Utilizes appropriate quality tools (lean and Sigma) to help resolve issues related to non-conformances and Customer RMA’s</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manages supplier related NCR/SCAR/CAR activities to ensure timely administration of activities and records</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures and work rules to support and maintain an AS9100-compliant Quality Management</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Problem solve and follow up on troubled orders to improve supplier quality.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Apply engineering knowledge on supplier manufacturing to ensure quality hardware meets customer requirements</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assess the impact of manufactured part rejections; communicate with suppliers to work through problems and resolve case</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Participate in QA and RMA Meetings (Live Reviews)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Oversee internal production of products from a quality perspective</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitor and review quality metrics for publication</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist with onsite Customer Audits</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support Quality Management System requirements</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Aid Quality Control Lab as necessary</li> </ul> Teamwork, Collaboration and Safety: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Interface with Design Engineering, Customer Care, Quality, Sales, and Shipping teams to ensure manufacturing processes are capable of customer quality and satisfaction</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Effectively communicate with all key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal/external customers, and leadership</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Participate and provide input on initiatives to simplify and automate complex processes</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Perform all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with internal customers to implement quality measures</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support all Continuous Improvement activities</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a Technical related field is preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in engineering, quality role, or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in supplier-facing role or equivalent</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing processes, engineering drawing requirements</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">A self-starter who can drive actions to completion</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Able to multitask, meet deadlines and support all supplier quality field activities</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong manufacturing knowledge</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Able to read and interpret CAD Models & Drawings</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong time management/project management capabilities</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
