Job Description
Role Overview: As a Business Analyst at Xceedance, your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for customer implementations of IAN products. You will collaborate closely with customers, Lead Business Analysts, Implementation Architects, Configurators, and QA teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into solution configurations and implementation deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and process requirements. - Conduct discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions with business and operational teams. - Analyze customer business processes, workflows, business rules, and operational challenges to identify solution requirements. - Map customer business processes to IAN products, platform capabilities, and implementation approaches. - Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. - Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and functional mockups to support requirements definition and solution validation. - Collaborate with Lead Business Analysts, Configurators, and Implementation Architects to clarify requirements and define solution approaches. - Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and implementation activities using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. - Assist in defining business rules, workflows, validation requirements, and data requirements. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), requirement validation, and defect triage. - Maintain project documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and delivered solutions. - Support customer training, adoption, and post-go-live activities. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 810 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software implementation or enterprise application projects. - Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain; knowledge of Commercial Lines and Specialty Insurance is an advantage. - Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation. - Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications. - Experience creating wireframes, user journeys, process diagrams, and functional prototypes using tools such as Figma, Visio, Miro, or similar platforms. - Good understanding of BPMN, workflow automation, workflow-driven and configurable software platforms, and implementation-driven delivery models. - Ability to translate business requirements into implementation-ready functional specifications and user stories. - Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, sprint planning, and stakeholder collaboration. - Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills. - Experience supporting SIT, UAT, requirement validation, and defect management. - Proven experience working with insurance carriers and clients across North America or Europe. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
