Power Generation Mechanical Engineer at WSP

Drive the future of energy with WSP as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer on the Energy team. Focus on mechanical design and implementation of innovative power generation projects. As part of WSP's dedicated Energy team, you'll engage in designing mechanical systems critical for sustainable power solutions.

This role requires strong technical skills in developing project documentation and performing piping design activities. Your mentorship will guide junior engineers and promote effective collaboration across disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

• Design piping systems and mechanical equipment for projects
• Create specifications and evaluate technical bids
• Collaborate with vendors to review technical documentation
• Provide scopes of work for mechanical installations
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs as needed Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6-10 years of relevant mechanical design experience
• Active engineering license in your practice province
• Knowledge of SmartPlant 3D or CADworx
