Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting operational and administrative activities at WRI India. Your main responsibilities will include:
- **Financial Management (30%):**
- Update and maintain project budgets using WRIs budgeting and forecasting software (TM1).
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate budget forecasting and minimize variance from planned targets.
- Coordinate with accounting, payments, HR, and program teams.
- Support program teams with financial expenditures and compliance with grant and contract agreements.
- **Contracts Management (30%):**
- Process documentation for agreements, contracts, sub-grants, and purchase orders.
- Monitor contract performance and assist partners in meeting requirements.
- Maintain reports throughout contracts and sub-grants duration.
- Process invoices and payments for partners in compliance with WRIs policies.
- **Conference, Event & Travel Support (20% time):**
- Coordinate logistics for domestic and international workshops and events.
- Provide travel and visa support to the team.
- Assist in financial management for conference and event logistics.
- **Administration (20% time):**
- Schedule team meetings and assist in annual planning processes.
- Update staffing information and coordinate recruitment/onboarding.
- Manage various trackers and perform other assigned duties.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in financial management, budgeting, or administration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Robust process orientation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based communications, and CRM databases.
- Budgeting experience with Excel or other software is desirable.
- *Salary and Perks:**
- INR 14,00,000 to 18,00,000 CTC per annum.

This is a 1-year term hire position based in New Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore, India, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
