Service Technician Compressed Air Systems

Location: Lower Mainland, BC

Schedule: MondayFriday | Day Shift

Pay: $34$40/hour (based on experience)

Our client, a well-established industrial equipment and service provider, is hiring a Service Technician to support manufacturing and production facilities across the Lower Mainland. This field-based role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair compressed air equipment (compressors, dryers, related systems)
• Respond to service calls and occasional on-call emergencies
• Perform workshop assembly and system testing as required
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and technical drawings
• Advise customers on system improvements, products, and service options
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service at customer sites
• Travel occasionally for customer support and training

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience as a Service Technician, Millwright, Electrician, Industrial Mechanic, Machinist, or Industrial Fitter
• Electromechanics or equivalent technical/trade training
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with compressed air systems (strong asset)
• Knowledge of piping systems (asset)
• Comfortable using digital service tools and software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
• Flexibility for on-call service and occasional travel
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one
