Node.js Developer - Microservices Architecture

Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Node.js Developer to join the gaming team focused on developing engaging casino and slot games.

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, good understanding of scalable architectures, APIs, real-time systems, and experience working closely with game developers and frontend teams.

The candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining secure, high-performance backend systems that support slot game mechanics, player engagement features, reward systems, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js
• Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate closely with game developers, frontend teams, QA, and product managers
• Handle game logic integrations, player data management, rewards, leaderboards, and wallet systems
• Optimize backend performance for high concurrent users and low latency
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment systems, and analytics tools where required
• Ensure application security, stability, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide quick resolutions
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Maintain proper documentation and coding standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Good understanding of Express.js or similar backend frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket integrations
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of scalable system design and microservices architecture
• Experience with Redis, caching, queues, and asynchronous programming
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in gaming, casino, slot games, or real-time applications
• Understanding of multiplayer/reward systems/game economy
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or cloud services
• Experience with socket-based or event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with game engines/backend integrations
• Understanding of analytics and player behavior systems
