About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Water Infrastructure to join their dynamic team. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in wastewater management, pump stations, and water conveyance systems. As a Senior Engineer specializing in Water Infrastructure, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative and sustainable solutions for their clients' water-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the water and wastewater process design team through preliminary and detailed engineering phases, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Support process design for pumping stations, tanks, and reservoirs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare complete engineering design packages.
- Manage projects to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives in the water and wastewater sector.
- Lead, mentor, and coach intermediate and junior team members.
Qualifications
- University degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Possess advanced technical expertise in pumping systems and treatment technologies and is recognized as a technical leader.
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial design standards in British Columbia and other Canadian jurisdictions.
