Job Description
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI
Education/Certifications Mandatory:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree, with preference given for areas relating to national security or STEM field related to a core area of FIRB interest, and/or collection, analysis, and distribution of intelligence information.
Work Experience Mandatory:
- At least 8 years of work experience in a research and analysis or intelligence position, or at least 1 year experience working within FIRB.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, data-driven research and analysis.
- Proficiency with essential tools, including Microsoft Office 365 applications, and SharePoint Online.
- Proficiency with a variety of intelligence research tools, such as Wirescreen, Sayari, LexisNexis, Pitchbook, DJRC, or Highergov.
- Possess TS/SCI clearance prior to starting work.
- Demonstrated project and team management ability.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis of cybersecurity and technology risk areas to support FIRB case reviews, investigations, threat assessments, and special projects related to foreign investment and national security.
- Perform open source intelligence research on transactions, applications, and related entities to identify vulnerabilities, consequences, and potential mitigation strategies affecting U.S. critical infrastructure and technology sectors.
- Develop written intelligence products and risk assessments that translate analytic findings into clear, actionable recommendations for government decision makers.
- Interpret and integrate findings from subject matter experts, case materials, and intelligence research to perform comprehensive risk assessments.
- Maintain case documentation, track case review workflows, and prepare reports, graphics, and other analytical materials to communicate findings.
- Document meeting outcomes and support interagency coordination, while assisting in the development of analytic products, training materials, and briefings that support FIRB mission activities and stakeholder awareness.
